creating a unique fusion of digital art merged with the ancient medium of egg tempera.

Like mosaic tiles these Flowsaic paintings are the hardcopy of my experiential verification into divine spaces.

I used to think that true creativity and true wisdom were only experienced through
 transcending our bodies and “becoming spiritual.”
But I now understand that was an illusion.
It is only through my lived, and shared experience of the world that I come alive.

I know there are spaces where I can touch the cosmos, touch spirit;
there are places where I can touch all creation.
And it is here the connection is remembered. In this series I am painting these spaces.



Iris petals gently lifting on the merest of summer breezes as the coolness of the morning offers
it’s tenderness to the rising sun’s heat. In that merciful lift life becomes visible and meaningful;

and


the leaves of the aspen tree quaking under strong gusts of wind on a humid summer afternoon.
Their blue bellies shimmering against a darkening sky. In that shimmering and twirling  movement
I feel the earth alive. I am enlivened and re-membered.
